Logistics sorting

Automatic logistics sorting equipment is a modern logistics equipment, which consists of a conveying system (usually a conveyor belt, which is made of wear-resistant and non-slip material, a motor drives the roller to make the conveyor belt run and the speed is adjustable, and there are guide devices such as side baffles and rollers), a scanning and identification system (including a scanner, a sensor and an identification software. The scanner uses optical principles to read barcodes, QR codes or electronic tag information, the sensor detects the physical characteristics of the goods, and the identification software analyzes and processes the data and matches it with the database to determine the key information of the goods), a sorting execution system (a slider sorter pushes the goods through the slider, a swing arm sorter uses the mechanical arm to swing to change the path of the goods, and a flip tray sorter flips the pallet to make the goods fall into the sorting port, etc.) and a control system (consisting of PLC and computer software. PLC receives signals and directs the sorting execution system according to the program, and the computer software monitors and manages the sorting process, displays the status and is used for parameter setting). Its working principle is that after the goods enter, they are first transported to the scanning and identification area by the conveying system, and the sorting destination is determined by the scanning and identification system. Then the control system directs the sorting execution system to sort. It has the advantages of high efficiency (large express sorting centers can sort thousands or even tens of thousands of parcels per hour), high accuracy (sorting accuracy is over 99%), and reduced labor costs (only a small number of technicians are required for monitoring and maintenance). It is widely used in the express industry (classifying parcels according to delivery addresses), e-commerce warehouses (sorting goods for shipment according to order information), manufacturing logistics (sorting raw materials, parts and finished products), and other scenarios.
